PAT RADACK began his career in Real Estate 5 years ago after becoming a semi-retired parent. His role as a parent and family member dominated his life before that. He has been actively involved in community affairs, around juvenile activity, education and crime prevention. He and his wife Amy have both been involved in the Durham Public School system as PTA members and officers and Site Based Decision Making Committee members. Pat has also been constantly involved in youth sports coaching. Both Pat and Amy have been members of the Parent Council at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics (NCSSM) and Pat served as their first Parent Forum Monitor. Pat is currently serving on the Durham County Juvenile Crime Prevention Council and has been a board member of Durham County CrimeStoppers since moving to Durham 14 years ago.
Pat continues to be interested in the sciences, athletics and tries to incorporate both in various community service interests. Currently that involves helping to collect and distribute used Prom dresses and taking NCSSM students to Duke University athletic contests. The students are awarded by getting off their campus and they help raise funds for a local scholarship by helping Pat work the concessions.
Pat enjoys both the buying and selling side of general brokerage. His strength lies with his analytical skills. He often describes himself to buyers as their 'devil's advocate'...getting them to ask themselves, and answer, the hard questions that will insure them long term happiness in their newly found homes. His poignant and often provocative questions help buyers zero in on what they really need in their daily lives to make North Carolina the great place he has found it to be.
